Mr. H. M. Issa, the esteemed founder and director of Rúhíyyih School, was recently honoured with the prestigious "Francis Fanthome Lifetime Achievement Award" by the West Bengal chapter of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations board. The award recognizes Mr. Issa's outstanding contributions to education, his unwavering commitment to service, and his dedication to promoting equality, diversity, and justice.

In 1985, together with his wife, Mr. Issa established Rúhíyyih School in Jorebunglow, near Ghoom, in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal, India. The school was named in honour of Madam Rúhíyyih Rabbáni, a renowned advocate for education and humanitarian service. Since its inception, Rúhíyyih School has remained dedicated to providing a transformative educational experience that nurtures the physical, intellectual, spiritual, and moral growth of each student.
